San Juan Capestrano Hospital is a 172-bed private psychiatric center located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, offering detox, inpatient, and outpatient services to adolescents, adults, and seniors struggling with addiction and mental health issues. We also offer services at numerous other locations throughout the island.
As part of our mission to remain the premier provider of behavioral healthcare services in all of Puerto Rico, San Juan Capestrano Hospital offers various treatment services at eleven different locations throughout the island. Our Caguas location provides care through our adult partial hospitalization program (PHP). Our Caguas location will also be providing services through our adolescent partial hospitalization program.
The adult partial hospitalization program at San Juan Capestrano Hospital’s Caguas location is offered for men and women, aged 18 and older, who are suffering from any number of mental, emotional, and behavioral healthcare concerns. Adults who engage in this programming option require thorough, intensive, day-long care, yet do not need the 24/7 monitoring that is provided in an inpatient treatment setting. The therapists, social workers, and other mental health specialists in this program work with patients as they address the core causes and symptoms of the mental health issues that are plaguing them so that they can successfully overcome their trials and find true healing.
Our adolescent partial hospitalization program will provide services for youth between the ages 13 and 17 who need assistance in overcoming the trials they are facing as the result of any number of mental, emotional, or behavioral healthcare concerns. Through the implementation of individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, experiential therapy, and occupational therapy, adolescents who will take part in this programming option will learn how to successfully overcome the symptoms that are plaguing them, while also developing the tools needed to embark on the path to a bright, happy, and productive future.
