Inpatient Programs

At San Juan Capestrano Hospital, we provide detox, inpatient and outpatient services to adolescents, adults, and seniors struggling with addiction and mental health issues. We offer specialized programming options to ensure that each patient receives the level of care they need.

Inpatient Program Overview

At San Juan Capestrano Hospital, we pride ourselves on the comprehensive inpatient care that we are able to afford to adolescents, adults, and senior adults who are in need of acute, immediate care for behavioral, emotional, and mental healthcare concerns and/or chemical dependency issues. Hospitalization is indicated for the stabilization of a mental condition and treatment for alcohol or drugs. Inpatient hospitalization includes 24-hour nursing care, as well as medical and therapeutic services. Our hospital provides a safe and secure environment that is fully conducive to healing, while also providing around-the-clock monitoring and care for all of whom come to trust us as their provider of choice.

The purpose of inpatient treatment is to provide patients with short-stay treatment and therapeutic interventions that is focused on symptom stabilization which works to increase the functioning of our patients following a crisis. Each person receives a detailed assessment for the accurate diagnosis of the disease that is plaguing him or her. Mental health professionals then develop an individualized plan of treatment that is focused on the unique needs that are specific to each patient who is entrusted into our care.

Our inpatient programs are designed for people who have more severe conditions than those of which can be successfully managed in a traditional outpatient setting. The inpatient programming at San Juan Capestrano Hospital offers an environment for optimal care, 24-hour supervision, and therapeutic structure that promotes placing attention on the problem at hand, enhancing positive self-esteem, guiding social skills development, and eliciting personal growth.
